NY Law Gives More Rights to Domestic Partners on Medical Decisions
The NY Times is reporting that Governor Paterson has signed a new bill into law that sets clear standards for who can make decisions for a patient when they’re incapable of making their wishes known. The law includes a clear “line of succession” that includes domestic partners, a win for gay couples throughout the state.
